Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Chipotle Ranch has lost the hot, lost the chipotle, and gained some stars. I have absolutely no idea what summer and Ranch have to do with one another, but I’ve never met a Cheeto or a bottle of Ranch dressing that I didn’t like.
I will eat these naked on the beach.

Not really sure that stars are seasonal either, but Frito Lay has introduced a new shape for this limited edition item.
The stars are aligned for more summer weight gain, I suppose.
The first thing you’ll notice is that each piece is white – not orange like most Cheetos. That’s because the Summertime Ranch seasoning is the focal point with cheddar cheese just a minor, minor player.
And that ranch seasoning is huge, but also familiar… ?
Yes, Summertime Ranch Cheetos Stars are the Cheetos version of Cool Ranch Doritos.
The ratios might be slightly tweaked but the ingredient list almost identical: salt, skim milk, tomato powder, onion powder, garlic powder, buttermilk, cheddar and spice. It might not be as bold as the Cool Ranch powder on the Doritos, but it tastes really damn good on the Cheetos corn meal.
One thing I like about them is that the Cheeto feels a more neutral canvas to really allow the Ranch flavor to take command, and more Ranch flavored snacks is a good thing because Ranch goes well with everything.
They’re dangerous, addictive, and I guess the mythical Diet will start in the fall.

This is my NEW favorite chip! Since i was 3 i always had a whole bag of Doritos cool ranxh in my hands..it was my staple..and was considered an expert on the topic lol could blind fold tell u the chips that came frm a big bag or a small bag (life goals;) dont know how I stayed skinny as a rail. But somewhere down the line they switched it up and changed when in my 20s and they have never been the same..all that being said i have not found another chip i love as much…until now. Im glad to see cheetos making something else besides cheese and hot flavors. I see how the ranch is considered a summer flavor but think bbq would have been a bit more appropriate im not mad at it! Id LOVE dor them to have a permanent place for this ranch flavor and a bbq flavor as well!! My taste buds are gonna mourn but my health will be better off as i have already bought 5 bags in a weeks time (5 person household)
