Sweet Cinnamon Kit Kat

Well, sort of. Historically, October was the month for the Halloween Triple Chocolate Kit Kats. They didn’t return this year, but no worries  because I had plenty of Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats… which was last year’s November flavor of the month. December was traditionally dedicated to Mint Kit Kats, which will be replaced by Mint + Dark Chocolate Kit Kats Duos later this year. When the calendar hits January, I’ll start eating the Valentine’s Red Velvet Kit Kats, which will carry me into February, and then I just eat regular Kit Kats for dinner every night until starting this all over again.

Hang on.. it’s already November and I’ve been eating Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats since August?

Ummm… Daylight Savings Time… carry the one..

Whatever, new Sweet Cinnamon Kit Kats!

Sweet Cinnamon Kit Kats are available pretty much everywhere they sell weird, seasonal candy that don’t fit my diet but I’m gonna buy anyway.

Because I can’t read, I just naturally assumed these would have a cinnamon-flavored confection covering the crispy wafers. But it turns out they’re covered in a sweet cinnamon-flavored milk chocolate. Think like a churro dipped in chocolate or a Mexican hot chocolate without any spice.

Honestly, cinnamon + chocolate isn’t a combination I adore. That is absolutely not true with these Sweet Cinnamon Kit Kats. I adore them!

The cinnamon is so flavorful that I can actually smell it before I even take a bit. It doesn’t overpower though; I’m getting equal parts of Kit Kat milk chocolate and a sweet cinnamon finish, mixed with the iconic flavor of the wafers inside. It’s a lovely combination.

While I was expecting something more akin to a Cinnamon Roll Kit Kat with a cinnamon creme, I’m pretty enamored with these milk chocolatey cinnamon Kit Kats. Certainly I enjoy them far more than I thought I would. I suspect you will too.
