Whenever I try a new Oreo, it seems I barely have time to chew it before the next one comes out.
I won’t even need to do any chewing on these new ones… because they’re Oreo Candy Canes , because America.
This is so us.
They were made in Mexico.
How convenient is this?!
Oreo Candy Canes are produced by the Spangler Candy Company. You might know them as the makers of Dum-Dums Lollipops or, more likely… you have no f*cking clue who they are, and you don’t care.
All you care about is whether or not these taste like Oreos.
Visually, it looks about as much like an Oreo as a candy cane possibly could. In other words, it’s black and white.
It smells exactly like a Tootsie Roll.
There really isn’t much to talk about here, you guys… bare with me.
Oh… the ole’ “twist & lick” doesn’t work so well with Oreo Candy Canes.

Much like the scent, Oreo Candy Canes taste like Tootsie Pops. Really, that’s the entire review right there.
Now of COURSE I didn’t expect these to actually taste like Oreos – I just expected more than this. A better cocoa flavor, maybe? A more bitter chocolate? Something that reminds me of Oreo creme aside from its color?
Other than the fact that they taste nothing like an Oreo, it’s also worth noting that these taste nothing like an Oreo. That’s the only reason you wanted to buy these instead of the other 50,000 candy cane varieties out there, so yeah… I’m going to rate them very poorly. If I wanted a Tootsie Pop, I would have bought a Tootsie Pop. And then re-evaluated pretty much everything in my life.
Oreo Candy Canes are a pure licensing gimmick that’s guaranteed to sell, and guaranteed to disappoint.
I got exactly what I deserved.
