Reese’s and Reese’s… I honestly cannot think of a better tag team.
Breyer’s 2 in 1 Reese’s & Reese’s Mini Pieces
Breyer’s, everyone’s favorite ice cream that isn’t actually ice cream, has done away with the “Breyer’s Blasts!” name, rebranded those as straight “cookie and candy” flavors, and then introduced this new Breyers 2 in 1 line.
The new 2 in 1 line comes in four flavors, and this one right here is all like “Yo, what up, Reese’s?” One half is peanut butter frozen dairy dessert with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup pieces, and the other is chocolate frozen dairy dessert with Reese’s Pieces mini candies.
It’s like Reese’s on Reese’s in Reese’s with Reese’s.
“Frozen dairy dessert” basically means they didn’t use enough milkfat or they whipped in too much air to call it ice cream. But it’s like I’ve always said: if you’re gonna whip in so much air, you better whip in a whole lot of Reese’s to make up for it.
This Breyer’s 2 in 1 Reese’s & Reese’s Mini Pieces will have to do until we get the Reese’s “14 in 1” featuring Reese’s Cups, Reese’s White, Reese’s Dark, Reese’s Pieces, Reese’s Stuffed with Pieces, Reese’s Stuffed with Crunchy Cookie, Reese’s Crunchy, Reese’s Crispy Crunchy, Reese’s Sticks, Reese’s Nutrageous, Reese’s Fast Break, Reese’s Snack Mix, Reese’s Popped Snack Mix, and Reese’s Crunchers.
Those are all things that you can buy right now by the way. What a time to be alive.
My Breyer’s 2 in 1 quart had a lot more of the peanut butter base, which brings both good news and bad news.
The bad news first: the peanut butter frozen dairy dessert is very lightly flavored. It tastes like whipped air that wafted over some peanuts; not salty enough to do peanut butter true justice, but just enough to understand what they were going for. Good news is that mine had a few big, fat Reese’s peanut butter cup chunks.
The chocolate frozen dairy dessert has a little more flavor than the peanut butter. It’s like a milk chocolate flavor with not enough milk. But at least it’s sweet, and the mini Reese’s Pieces give a more classic Reese’s flavor with some nice crunch.
The sum is greater than the parts and I enjoy this slightly more than the Oreo & Chips Ahoy! 2 in 1, but the Reese’s additions do all the heavy lifting here.
Truly, this is a showcase that enough Reese’s can make anything passable.
Burning Questions:
- When does the Reese’s 14 in 1 come out? It was just a joke.
- What store can I get the Reese’s 14 in 1? It’s not real.
- Did you hear they’re making a Reese’s 14 in 1? ??♂️??♂️??♂️

This is actually in my freezer right now.. and it’d already be gone if it tasted more peanut- buttery? I know that’s not a word. But you get the idea. I was so thrilled to see this at the grocery store, and while it’s certainly yummy and not bad at all, it definitely could have been better. Thanks for the review! ?
Glad to hear I’m not the only one – I struggled between a 6.5 and 7/10 on this. Ultimately I realized that I’m not going back to it much despite it sitting in my freezer, and whenever I do take a quick bite, I realize exactly what you said: it’s not peanut buttery enough. I’m pretty much just mining for Reese’s.
