You up? ?????
Ben & Jerry’s Netflix & Chilll’d
Let’s be real, guys… I’ve never sent that text to anyone. The mere idea of me being that close to having a woman who is that comfortable/tolerant of having sex with me is the greatest joke I’ve ever told on this blog. My game is a lot less “Netflix & chill?” and a lot more “Ice cream & you ignore my texts for four months before I finally get the hint.”
And besides… if you were ever unfortunate enough to find yourself on the wrong end of a Junk Banter courtship, the last thing I’m doing is logging into my Netflix account and risk having you see “Because you watched The Bachelor…” or that my recently watched is Gilmore Girls, Monster in Law, and She’s Out of My League.
But for all you Brad Womacks out there, Netflix & Chilll’d is here to satisfy all your sweet & salty urges during your next Netflix binge with that girl you’re “talking to.”
Ben & Jerry’s Netflix & Chilll’d is peanut butter ice cream with sweet & salty pretzel swirls and fudge brownies. With PB, pretzels, and chocolate all represented, it’s kind of similar in profile to Chubby Hubby, though it gets there through much different means.
I had to dig for a bit before I found the fudge brownies, but they were big and bodacious once I did. I was also temporarily alarmed when I didn’t see any pretzel swirls, but it turns out its color blends in too perfectly with the peanut butter ice cream. When a large cluster of it made its way to my taste buds, I knew I was on the fast track to “eating way too much ice cream and never getting laid in my life.”
Maybe it’s just been a while, but even Ben & Jerry’s peanut butter ice cream was better than I remember it. Either that or it just works so much more effectively paired with a salty swirl mixed throughout. We all know chocolate and peanut butter get freaky together quite well, but using brownies instead of chocolate chunks certainly elevates the duo. They probably played it safe with this recipe, but they also played it smart.
My only complaints as alluded to: the brownies, while big, were a little too sporadic, and the pretzel swirl could have been more consistent too.
Make no mistake, though, I think we can all agree that this is the best thing to enter your living room since Sleeping with Other People hit Netflix.
Burning Questions:
- Why do you watch so many rom coms? Because I’m lonely.
- Whose Netflix subscription do you use? My sister’s boyfriend’s.
- Who do you text the most? GrubHub driver.
