A mere days after serving us boiling hot lemonade for breakfast, Kellogg’s continues to display a fundamental misunderstanding of what is food and what is drink by announcing two brand new Pop Tart flavors: Kellogg’s Frosted A&W Root Beer Pop Tarts and Kellogg’s Frosted Crush Orange Pop Tarts.
Kellogg’s Frosted A&W Root Beer Pop Tarts and Kellogg’s Frosted Crush Orange Pop Tarts will both be available nationwide in May 2016.
“We’re always trying to surprise our fans with flavors they’ll love,” said Angela Gusse, the director of marketing for Pop Tarts who clearly has a misguided understanding of what people love. “Pop-Tarts and soda pop is a fun, new flavor combination – the Frosted A&W Root Beer and Frosted Crush Orange varieties are so different from our fruity and dessert-type tarts, and this is our first beverage-inspired flavor.” It appears the director of marketing would like to forget that the first beverage-inspired flavor was released just the other day – Kellogg’s Frosted Pink Lemonade Pop Tarts.
Kellogg’s Frosted A&W Root Beer Pop Tarts will feature a brown pastry, a root beer-flavored filling, white frosting, and what appears to be the same sprinkles they put on the Kellogg’s Maple Bacon Pop Tarts.
Kellogg’s Frosted Crush Orange Pop Tarts will feature a golden pastry with a citrus-flavored filling, white frosting, and an orange drizzle.’
The box for both the Kellogg’s Frosted A&W Root Beer Pop Tarts and Kellogg’s Frosted Crush Orange Pop Tarts identifies them as a “New Flavor” instead of “Limited Edition,” so I guess we’re stuck with them for a while.

I have something better to do, so I won’t be leaving a comment telling you whether I’m interested in soda-flavored Pop-Tarts. I’m sorry, but I just have to get to doing this other, better thing.
I understand; no offense taken here. Please leave another comment letting me know how the other, better thing went!
Bro, I can’t even do that, because another, even MORE better thing has come up, and I simply don’t have the time to reply to your post.
I hope you understand; I really wish I had the time to accommodate your request, but given my rather full schedule of having other, more better things that need doing by me, it’s simply unfeasible for me to allocate even a sliver of this most precious commodity we call time to the relatively non-better (and arguably worse) task of informing you as to the success (or lack thereof) of the initial better thing to which I referred.
If, in the future, I’m able to streamline my agenda to the point where I can afford to earmark a slot of time for the dual tasks of sharing my notions of soda-based Pop-Tart flavors and notifying you of the results of my better thing, I shall endeavor to do so at my discretion. Thank you for your cooperation, understanding, support, and admiration. Godspeed.
