Allow me to begin this with a pre-emptive argument:
“Shut up.”
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning
Just shut up! If you came here to tell me that you could just crush up a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and put it in a shaker bottle for cheaper, then do me a favor: Go take a hike into the woods, and tell the tree that fell down with nobody there to see it all about it. Because I don’t care, and I don’t have time for you.
You see, this new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning is the type of product I dreamed about when I was a kid. You ever like something so much that you wish they would just bottle it up so you could sprinkle on everything? Well now you can, and it wouldn’t feel as magical if it wasn’t an authentic Cinnamon Toast Crunch product with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch label. When you whip this out in public, people are gonna be talking.
And NO – this isn’t just Cinnamon Toast Crunch blended in a bottle, or just cinnamon and sugar with fancy packaging. It’s a new cinnamon sugar blend paired with sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, and graham that’s supposed to mimic the cereal.
They recommend adding it to baked goods, toast, coffee, popcorn, sweet potatoes, desserts, fruit, or ice cream. For me? This will basically replace salt.
Disclaimer: I’m a person who once breaded chicken tenders in Oreo crumbs, and liked it:
And speaking of salt, it’s actually one of the ingredients in here along with sugar, cinnamon, and natural flavors.
Their list of recommendations for the product don’t include shoving spoonfuls directly into your gullet, but that’s exactly what I did…
And unfortunately, I can’t say that I totally recommend this. We’ll set two things straight first: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust is definitely tasty, and it’s definitely not just cinnamon & sugar with a fancy label. But the natural flavors they added don’t exactly land on the classic “Cinnamon Toast Crunch” flavor we were all hoping it would. I think it’s a little too heavy on the vanilla flavor, which I don’t especially associate with the cereal.
It finishes with a cinnamon & sugar combo that does leave me more optimistic that it’ll taste much better as a secret ingredient to other snacks that need a little more “oomph” to get our engines goin’.
However, I am living through a pandemic just like all of you. That means less trips to the grocery store, and my fat ass doesn’t much of anything on hand other than the leftover Uber Eats in my fridge…
So I put it on pizza…
If you don’t think that I ate this, and furthermore that I enjoyed it, then you really don’t have any idea just how much of a garbage human being that I am…
Burning Questions:
- You really don’t even have fruit in your house? LOL.
- Looks like you burnt your pizza. I did.
- Do you do anything right? I don’t.
