REVIEW: Frankford Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar

by Junk Male · February 11, 2021

Listen, if cereal can be “part of a balanced breakfast”, then so can candy.

Fight my logic. ??

Frankford Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar

If there was ever actually a debate that cereal is just candy, then this new Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar emphatically clear it up.

I mean, you want to talk about balance!? This Fruity Pebbles Candy Bar is jam-packed with a heavy dose of vitamin-rich*, nutrient-packed** Fruity Pebbles, which is balanced perfectly with a shit-ton of white chocolate.*** Try arguing with that!

* There is actually some vitamin D, calcium, iron, and potassium in here.
** I don’t know what nutrients are.
*** This isn’t actually white chocolate.

But seriously, this candy bar has so many Fruity Pebbles in it that it’s impossible not to enjoy this bar if you enjoy Fruity Pebbles, as this picture of the bottom surface (its ass) should make perfectly clear:

The Fruity Pebbles affect more than just flavor. Consistency-wise, it’s like a fruity, white chocolate version of a Nestle Crunch. The fruity cereal is nice and crispy, adding a great deal of texture to keep this candy bar interesting and fun to eat.

Now onto the “white chocolate,” which I put in quotations because it’s not actually that. They’re calling it a “white coating”, so don’t expect it to be especially indulgent. However, it really doesn’t need to be. It’s an effective vehicle to deliver all these Fruity Pebbles with a pleasant vanilla flavor. It also adds plenty of creaminess to serve as our substitute for milk.

A fair criticism may be that this is too sweet, although this was 100% not the case for me and probably shouldn’t be for you either if you’re purchasing a FRUITY PEBBLES CANDY BAR.

Is this the best candy bar you’ll ever eat? No. But is the best breakfast? Possibly.

Burning Questions:

  1. Is this the best breakfast? No, eat some eggs.
  2. Do… do they make Fruity Pebbles Eggs? Actually they do!
  3. How are they? They’re awful.
