REVIEW: General Mills Lucky Charms Soft Baked Treats

by Junk Male · November 25, 2019

At first glance, I thought these were Fiber One bars.

But even though these Lucky Charms Soft Baked Treats don’t have any fiber, rest assured I will eat so many that, surely…

I will poop.

Honestly, who needs fiber when you can just eat so many Lucky Charms marshmallows until nature does the rest of the work for you?

And they’re practically begging you to do exactly that, as these new General Mills Lucky Charms Soft Baked Treats are currently only available 40 to a box.

But any time life throws the words “Lucky Charms Marshmallow Blondies” at you, you pull out your wallet and try your hardest to resist the urge to walk out of the store with 80, or more than 100.

The flavor of the Lucky Charms Soft Baked Treats immediately draw direct comparisons to the Fiber One Birthday Cake Bars. Considering I gave those bars a whopping 9 out of 10,  this off to a helluva start. I have to take a big birthday shit just thinking about how good those bars were.

It would for sure be a disappointment if that’s all there was to these, however the Lucky Charms marshmallows peak through to another layer.

The soft texture is identical to the Fiber One bars, right down to the slightly chalky quality to the cake – one of the less desirable traits of these things. But bites containing the bits of marbits (the actual term for Lucky Charms marshmallows that only cereal bloggers like me know) bring more than just bursts of color, adding the signature sweetness of the cereal marshmallows.

The white icing drizzle serves a similar function to make sure these are sweet enough to be severely enjoyable.

In summary, I’m shitting myself over how magically delicious these are.

Burning Questions:

  1. I bet you poop a lot. That’s not a question, but yes.
  2. How much do these cost? About $25 after you factor in the toilet paper.
  3. What should the next marbit be? ?
