History sure has had some GREAT duos, but has it produced any better than mint and dark chocolate?

Yes it has, but is anyone complaining about new Kit Kat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate?
Probably… some people think mint + anything = toothpaste. But those whose opinions matter know that mint and dark chocolate are a classic combo for candy bars. Kit Kats are no exception.
I know this because we’ve been down this road before. For years, the holidays saw Mint Kit Kat Miniatures. Even these used dark chocolate rather than Kit Kat’s standard milk, and they were excellent. I saw sad they didn’t return this year before I stumbled upon the brand new Kit Kat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate.
What’s different here is that each break of Kit Kat is layered with dark chocolate on the bottom and a new mint creme on top, both wrapping the Kit Kat wafers in the center. Also different? They’re permanent on shelves this time around.
They taste as good, if not better, than you’d expect them to.
Pick your comp: Thin Mints, peppermint bark, York Peppermint Patties, etc. Kit Kat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate have that kind of flavor at its core coupled with the crisp Kat Kat wafer you know and love. My comp is an Andes mint with a little less bite, more chocolate, and a little cookie crunch. A very strong replacement for the departed Mint Kit Kat Miniatures.
I can’t wait to see what other duos Kit Kat will roll out next!
