Cool Whip has long been the solution for desserts not quite good enough to stand on their own…
Now it wants you to know that they can play that game too.
Cool Whip has recruited the help of perennial favorite Oreo with its newest flavor: Cool Whip Mix-Ins Oreo. In doing so, it has transformed itself from mere topping to a zero-step ice cream sundae…
Probably better than Breyer’s, to be honest.
The recipe is simple and straightforward: their famous low-fat whipped topping with cookie pieces added in. As someone who has dipped Oreos directly into whipped cream on more than one fifty occasions, I appreciate the total lack of effort this requires. The Oreos are already in there, though if we’re being totally honest, it probably won’t stop me from dipping more in anyway.
The tub remains fridge fresh for one week, but will not last anywhere near that long in mine.
Or yours.
You might be alarmed when you open Cool Whip Mix-Ins Oreo and see no large cookie chunks, but don’t be. The cookie pieces are coarsely ground crumbs, but the entire tub tastes like Oreos. Every spoonful. Think of the same sensation you experience when you dunk Oreos in milk and some falls to the bottom until you save them with a spoon: soft, soaked in dairy, and spectacular.
Now make that milk sweeter and thicker so you can shovel it into your face like ice cream or pudding.
This review was mere formality, because OF COURSE Cool Whip Mix-Ins Oreo is fabulous. The only room for improvement is larger cookie pieces for textural contrast, but the flavor is on point. And if you’re not a totally disgusting, shameless barbarian like me and choose not to eat it directly from the container, this will make a fine complement to most cakes, pies, cheesecakes, trifles, cookies, ice cream… anything your heart desires, really.
For example:
If, on the other hand, you are exactly as disgusting as me, I just want you to know that Sam’s Club is now selling 9 lb. industrial-sized buckets of Oreo buttercream frosting, which can also double as spackle.
The world is truly a wonderful place if you just let yourself get lost in it.

I need to try this!!
IMMEDIATELY!
Love this stuff. I think the main reason it’s so damn good is it really has Oreo flavor. A lot of Oreo branded foods are missing that.
Completely, utterly, wholeheartedly agree!
