Sugar cookie is the new pumpkin spice, and muffins are the new… sugar cookies.
Entenmann’s Little Bites Sugar Cookie Muffins
The last time I reviewed Entenmann’s Little Bites, it was Butter Cookie Muffins. The main selling point there was butter.
Then there were Vanilla Muffins. Vanilla – another ingredient you find in almost anything you bake.
Their latest encore is just sugar.
Enjoy this one, folks, because at this rate the next flavor will be seasonal favorite Flour Muffins.
The very first ingredient of Entenmann’s Little Bites Sugar Cookie Muffins is sugar. This is probably true of all their muffins, but boy did they nail it right time around.
Oh, I didn’t mean these actually taste like sugar cookies; they absolutely do not. But they certainly do contain plenty of sugar, so I guess they are aren’t completely lying in that regard.
The muffins are glistening lightly with crunchy bits of caramelized sugar, which affect the appearance more than they do the taste. They mostly taste just like Entenmann’s regular loaf cake, which taste just like the Butter Cookie Little Bites, which taste more or less like their Vanilla Little Bites. The biggest change this time around is that there’s a tray of sugar cookies on the package.
Love you Entenmann’s, but you can’t pull a fast one on this junk food idiot…
Narrator: It was at this exact moment Mr. Banter realized they already had his money, and had very much pulled a fast one on him.
The sugar bits do seem to add something if you have the brilliant idea to heat these up in the toaster oven like I did, so do yourself a favor and do yourself a favor.
