Nabisco Double Nutty Nutter Butter
Ahh who am I kidding, I’m PUMPED for these new Double Nutty Nutter Butter!
Is there anything better than double nutting? Now I admit it was a lot easier back in my early years, but Nabisco has taken all the hard work out of the equation and thrown down twice as much peanut butter creme compared to the regular Nutter Butter peanut butter sandwich cookies. It’s a play right out of Nabisco’s very own Oreo playbook.
And to be frank with you, Nutter Butter creme > Oreo creme, so there’s much to be excited about.
Everything else about these remains the same. The cookies and the creme are still both made with real peanut butter, and they’re still shaped like giant peanuts. I can’t tell if they smell any better, but God help me they smell like Heaven probably smells.
If it’s been a while since you had a good ole’ fashioned Nutter Butter, consider this your kick in the ass to reacquaint. They are fabulous. The peanut butter flavor is authentic and downright phenomenal. One of the things I love most is the transition they make from a cookie with crunchy, sugary grit to a completely creamy peanut buttery chew.
The double nutt means your teeth sink through creme longer – a very satisfying experience. The peanut butter flavor seems to intensify and last longer, while the flavor profile remains largely unchanged. And that’s a very good thing.
Here’s some overanalysis for you: while I do think Double Stuf Oreos are better than regular Oreos, adding more and more creme fundamentally alters the balance between the two critical flavors (chocolate and creme). Keep increasing and eventually you’re barely eating an Oreo (see The Most Stuf Oreos). With Double Nutty Nutter Butters, you simply get more of what makes a Nutter Butter great.
In summary, I can’t wait for The Most Nutt. ?
