We call this one “hedging your bets.”
Chobani, knowing full well that it was taking a huge gamble by releasing Sriracha Mango and Chipotle Pineapple yogurts, introduced one of the most popular and safest combinations known to man, woman, and child. Introducing Chobani Flip PB&J!
You’re damn right I’m excited. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t love peanut butter & jelly (I cannot wait to read how many of you hate peanut butter & jelly in the comments). We all grew up with peanut butter & jelly sandwiches in our lunch boxes at school, so nostalgia is definitely one of the ingredients in Chobani Flip PB&J.
Now, we all have different preferences when it comes to PB&J sandwiches. Some of us love crunchy peanut butter, while idiots prefer creamy. Some like strawberry jelly or grape jelly, while champions prefer raspberry jam. Some zany people prefer their bread toasted; lesser people prefer no crust at all. With Chobani Flip PB&J, Chobani is hoping some will prefer their peanut butter & jelly sandwiches as a goop of fermented milk without any bread, peanut butter, or jelly.
Here’s what we’ve got goin’ on in Chobani Flip PB&J: Strawberry Lowfat Yogurt with Peanut Butter Clusters, Honey Granola, and Honey Roasted Peanuts. Lots of honey! Some prefer their peanut butter & jelly with honey, right? This sounds so safe yet so awesome.
Chobani Strawberry Greek yogurt is quite good by itself. It has a very authentic strawberry taste because Chobani uses real strawberries as one of the first ingredients. I like that this yogurt is thicker and less runny than some of the other Chobani Flip yogurts I’ve had. I’m wondering if it’s because strawberries puree nicely and are less juicy than some of the other fruits in Chobani’s array of flavors, but honestly why am I wasting your time pondering this?
Let’s reunite our jelly with our peanut butter pronto.
So many mix-ins! And oh man… the balance is on point here.
You’ll get the strawberry flavor first in Chobani Flip PB&J. As you chew through the toppings, the clusters, granola, and peanuts work in tandem to finish the bite with a rich peanut butter flavor.
What’s really fun here… some bites have a stronger strawberry flavor than others (for instance, when you scoop up an actual strawberry chunk). This is the same joy one would experience as you work through a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and hit pockets with a higher concentration of jelly.
Also fun – the Greek-style yogurt makes the bite thick to satisfy those creamy peanut butter lovers (idiots), but the mix-ins provide the textural contrast that crunchy peanut butter lovers (geniuses) will appreciate. Something for everyone.
The only complaint is the obvious one – Greek yogurt has a certain sour tang to it. Some fruit flavors mask it better than others, but I did pick up on the slightest sour note while working through Chobani Flip PB&J. Nobody adds sour to PB&J, but this won’t be anything unfamiliar to yogurt lovers. And that’s precisely what I love here – this still feels like Greek yogurt with an awesome peanut butter & jelly twist.
Chobani Flip PB&J is without question my new favorite flavor in the Flip lineup.

You are hilarious! I just wanted to say that. But idk how much stock you can put in that since I’m an idiot creamy PB lover. 😀
Just also wanted to mention that the pb & j does in fact have little pb clusters in it since you said there wasn’t any pb.
Thanks very much for your reviews and comments. You brought a big smile to my face… an idiot smile. LoL!
