Besides Lucky Charms, what is the second-most “magically delicious” food out there?
If you said “salmonella”, tonight we’re gonna find out if you’re right!
Pillsbury Lucky Charms Cookie Dough
You might have also said “cookie dough” (a much better guess), but we’re just swingin’ for the fences tonight with this new limited edition Pillsbury Lucky Charms Cookie Dough.
Pillsbury Lucky Charms Cookie Dough features tried and true sugar cookie dough with marshmallow bits folded in. Nothing more, nothing less. Automatic points already because it just wouldn’t be a proper Lucky Charms cookie if sugar wasn’t front and center and everywhere in between.
One pack contains 12 big cookies that are sized like magically delicious hockey pucks.
“PLEASE DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH”, reads one of the greatest jokes of all-time on the package.
With an admirable amount of marshmallow bits, the raw cookie dough truly tastes like Lucky Charms marshmallows. It’s a nice nuance to have a burst of cereal marshmallow flavor while not straying too far from a traditional sugar cookie recipe. It’s different enough to be noticeable, and that’s important.
You’ve got to assume they’re not actual Lucky Charms marshmallow pieces (or marbits, the official name) because those things are crunchy as all hell and these are not.
Bake at 350 degrees for 16-19 minutes, or 0 minutes for the magically delicious salmonella poisoning.
I cooked mine for 18 minutes and it produced dark brown & crispy edges with a much paler, softer center. I prefer my cookies crispy and I quite enjoyed these as a result.
The marshmallow bits melt to a semi-gooey state, though nothing that changes the texture significantly. The flavor of the regular cookie dough is enhanced, and the extra “cereal” flavor complements it.
Are these cookies too sweet? Probably, but I really enjoyed them! Besides, what were you expecting? They’re sugar cookies with sugary cereal marshmallows.
Burning Questions:
- What does salmonella poisoning taste like? Lucky Charms cookie dough.
- How are you feeling? Bloated and sweaty.
- Shouldn’t you go to the hospital? Only if they have Lucky Charms cookie dough.
