  1. You found them!!! Good to know they are worth it! May I ask where you found them? How do these rank among the other limited edition (not including marshmallow crispy)?

Tough question! Marshmallow Crispy is still the standard. Nabisco has been on a roll lately. I think the Brownie Batter and Cotton Candy Oreos deserve more praise for their outstanding execution, but I would prefer to eat these Toasted Coconut Oreos over both of those. If I were to just stick with new releases in 2015, I liked these slightly more than Red Velvet, and a great deal more than S’mores, Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Lemon Twist. What’s your favorite this year?

    • I’ve been wayyyyy behind on my Oreo consumption. My sister though has a preference for the caramel apple and marshmallow crispy. Do you like the golden birthday cake flavor? Is it similar to marshmallow crispy?

      • Junk Male says:

I do NOT like the golden birthday cake flavor. If I never eat another birthday cake flavored product again, I think I will be ok with it. I’ve never tried the chocolate birthday cake one, which I actually might like. Ok… I guess I will eat another birthday cake flavored product.

        • Yeah. some birthday cake flavored things are way to cloying and artificial! thanks for the heads up to steer clear of them! Maybe the more cocoa-y and slightly bitter chocolate cookie would pair better.

Stumbled upon your blog and have really gotten a kick out of your reviews! Glad to see coconut finally getting its due (a nice reprieve from all the salted caramel varieties on shelves).

We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the site! I really like that Nabisco went with Toasted Coconut as opposed to any other flavor trend. They’ve done their pumpkin spice, red velvet, s’mores, etc. as has every other product. Toasted Coconut was just one that made a lot of sense. Report back if you’re able to try them!

I hope to get the new Oreo coconut in Hermitage tn very soon because my son and I love Oreos I especially love coconut so I can’t wait to taste Oreos and coconut together.

We hope you’re successful as well Yolanda! There’s a huge coconut flavor to these Oreos, both in the cookie and in the cream. Make it your mission 🙂

  5. Saved as a favorite, I really like your blog!
