Red Velvet Chips Ahoy! Cookie should have been released three months years ago with all the other red velvet things, but better late than never, right? Red Velvet Junkies take special notice: the cookies join Red Velvet Oreos as permanent product offering for Nabisco. People like me whose diets are best described as “limited edition” will make a sacrifice and try them anyway.
Red Velvet Chips Ahoy! Cookies are red. They feature a soft white filling in the center and cream cheese flavored chips throughout. We’ve seen this formula work extremely well for Nabisco this past winter with the Hot Cocoa Chips Ahoy! Cookies that made me want to cancel my gym membership and eat cookies alone in my basement for the rest of my life.
Readers of the blog (that one guy) will recall that S’mores Chips Ahoy! Cookies will be released soon as well. We now know that they will be released simultaneously. Both will be available in early June, and some stores already have shelf space and bar allotted for them:
If anyone is wondering how I keep getting pictures of cookies that aren’t released yet, I don’t know.
